- GuidanceFriday Fasting
- Islamic tradition discourages fasting on Friday alone. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "None of you should fast on Friday unless he fasts the day before or the day after." (Sahih al-Bukhari 1985, Sahih Muslim 1144). If you wish to fast on Friday, it is recommended to pair it with Thursday or Saturday.
